The majority of our travel plans will be spontaneous. Before we depart, we secured accommodations with friends in Sao Paulo and through Airbnb in Rio de Janeiro. Everything else will be booked on the fly. We read a dozen other travel blogs and took advice from one of our favs (GQ Trippin), who unfortunately incurred hefty cancelation fees when they wanted to change plans mid-trip. We’re very flexible people and like to follow the adventure. That being said, if we meet someone we want to travel with, we’ll change plans. Or if someone suggests we visit a place we weren’t planning on, it’s easy to change the course when the course has yet to be written.
Throughout this blog, we’ll share our trials and tribulations, what worked, what didn’t, and hope you can find your own style that works for you, your lifestyle, and your travel goals. Some people may have too much anxiety not knowing where they’re going to stay or how they’re going to get there, and that is totally fine. You do you. This is just one of countless options to travel the world. No matter which style you choose, one thing is for certain, this will be the trip of a lifetime.
